2014 World Class Index

The Economy League has always believed that you can’t improve what you don’t measure. This conviction has been at the heart of dozens of Economy League initiatives over the years, and it lies at the core of the World Class Greater Philadelphia effort.

This inaugural World Class Index is a framework for tracking progress around the shared regional agenda for growth and opportunity laid out in the World Class Global Positioning Strategies released in 2013. It establishes common indicators for local leaders, provides clear-eyed analysis of metro trends, highlights collaborations leading to impact, and points to where immediate action is needed.
