Tia Maverick is the Business Manager for the Philadelphia Anchors for Growth & Equity (PAGE) initiative, where she is responsible for supporting local and diverse firms through advancing supplier diversity across the region. In this role, she fosters relationships with institutional leaders, facilitates access to critical resources, and provides hands-on support to B2I businesses navigating the complex world of contracting and procurement. She is also a core member of Supply PHL, a city-funded initiative that supports underrepresented construction contractors and enhances their ability to bid on and secure public works projects—ensuring that Bipartisan Infrastructure Law dollars are spent equitably and locally.
A proud Philadelphia native who has lived in multiple neighborhoods, Tia brings firsthand knowledge of the city’s challenges and potential. She holds a B.S. in Community and Environment Development from The Pennsylvania State University and continues to build her career in nonprofit and community development work. Passionate about economic justice, Tia is especially focused on helping Black and Brown-owned businesses grow into the middle market through increased visibility and access to opportunity.
Tia believes that the best leaders invest in their overall wellness. Outside of developing programs and coordinating civic relationships, she is a certified spiritualist and specialized chef who enjoys hiking, traveling, and creating visual art.
