At the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, Sherrise Rowe drives inclusive economic growth as the PAGE (Philadelphia Anchors for Growth & Equity) Associate. She builds vital bridges between anchor institutions, local government, and diverse businesses to create lasting prosperity throughout the region.
As the former Inaugural Supplier Diversity Manager for Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Sherrise worked to transform the county's longstanding patronage procurement system into an equitable and transparent process. Together with Lauren Footman Ed.D. the County's Inaugural Chief Diversity Officer, they spearheaded Delaware County's first-ever disparity study, creating a data-driven foundation for equitable procurement practices. This collaborative leadership established new pathways for veteran-owned, minority owned, and LGBTQIA+ owned businesses to access government contracts, marking a significant shift in Delaware County's procurement landscape. Through strategic relationship building and policy development, Sherrise cultivated essential partnerships with the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council and diverse chambers of commerce, laying the groundwork for lasting institutional change in economic inclusion.
Previously, as Director of Alumni Engagement DEI at Cabrini University, Sherrise demonstrated exceptional leadership by raising over $730,000 through the Cabrini Visionaries Gala and developing comprehensive DEI initiatives. Sherrise wrote grants and created cultural engagement opportunities for alumni and students alongside Maya Gordon Ph.D. and Ronald Whitaker II Ed.D. Her work on the university's Board of Trustees DEI Advisory Council helped shape institutional strategies for inclusive fundraising and partnerships.
A certified Project Management Professional and Train the Diversity Trainer (ADL), Sherrise combines her strategic business acumen with deep cultural awareness to create sustainable impact. Her expertise spans supplier diversity, grant management, and partnership development, with success in dismantling systemic barriers and creating equitable access to economic opportunities across sectors. In her spare time, she volunteers as the Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission Advisory Committee for Delaware County.
Sherrise holds a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Product Development with a Minor in Business Administration from Florida State University and is pursuing an MBA in Not-for-Profit Management at Regent University. Her proven track record in building diverse ecosystems and driving systemic change makes her an innovative leader in Philadelphia's business community.
