Philadelphia Anchors for Growth and Equity (PAGE) is a partnership between the Economy League, the City of Philadelphia and leading “Eds and Meds” anchor institutions that seeks to increase local purchasing by large institutional buyers to grow businesses, strengthen the local economy, create jobs, and build wealth.
The Economy League works with institutional buyers to identify and define opportunities for local, diverse companies. Simultaneously, the project team partners with organizations that represent small businesses in Philadelphia to identify suppliers to take advantage of those opportunities.
Since its founding in 1909, the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia has been an independent organization that believes high-quality, nonpartisan, and objective intelligence about the region’s most important challenges and opportunities is a crucial driver of equitable prosperity in Greater Philadelphia. The PolicyHub initiative generates insights that align with the organization’s role as a regional “think and do” tank that focuses on inclusive growth, equitable opportunities, and shared prosperity.
