COVID-19 message from the Economy League:

During this unprecedented twin public health and economic crisis, we urge our fellow Greater Philadelphians to practice social distancing and stay abreast of the latest updates from the Inquirer, which can readily be accessed here. 

For 111 years the Economy League has served a vital function as a trusted source of nonpartisan research and analysis, convener of cross-sector leaders, and a civic problem-solver.  During times of national crisis such as the First World War, the Great Depression, and the Second World War the Economy League provided independent thought leadership and made clear-eyed recommendations. 

It is our intention to play a similar thought leadership role during the rapidly unfolding COVID-19 pandemic as well.  Our staff are hard at work - remotely of course - to ensure that the Economy League delivers on its full potential to help inform and guide the region through this trying time.
