THE IDEA

Let’s Talk Philly Conversation Circles works in partnership with The Welcoming Center to offer immigrant millennials a safe space to practice and improve their English conversation skills, develop social capital, and increase their understanding about immigrant wellness by sharing their stories, breaking stereotypes and prejudice, and ensuring cultural authenticity. Through a participant-centered and problem-solving approach, the project aims to support and leverage the participants’ talents and skills to connect and build collaborative relationships with successful millennials in the city. As a result, the project goal is to strengthen the social fabric necessary for improved wellness and well-being.
