    2021 GREATER PHILADELPHIA LEADERSHIP EXCHANGE

    Philadelphia, PA

    October 25-27, 2021

GPLEX 2021 IS HERE!

On the heels of an unprecedented year, in October 2021 the Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange will bring together a diverse group of Philadelphia' s brightest and most engaged business and civic leaders to examine how cross-sector collaboration can help center equity and inclusion as our region emerges from the pandemic.

This year's GPLEX will include both virtual and in-person programming, as we continue to keep everyone’s comfort and safety as a top priority. The program will take place from Monday, October 25 to Wednesday, October 27 at the beautiful College of Physicians in Center City. While we are excited to offer in-person gathering options for this year's events, we plan to remain vigilant and informed on any changes to the COVID-19 virus and its variants. With the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and the Pennsylvania & Philadelphia Departments of Public Health, we will be asking all GPLEX participants to abide by a list of safety requirements that will be shared in advance of the event.

Participants are selected through a competitive process with a goal of representing the geographic, demographic, sector, and industry diversity of the region. To be eligible, applicants must live or work in the Greater Philadelphia region and serve in a leadership role in a business, nonprofit, or government organization.

Leadership Exchange registration fees are $975 this year with an option to join the Dine-Arounds for an additional $100.

The GPLEX 2021 application is NOW CLOSED. Accepted applicants will be notified no later than September 10th. If you have any questions or would like to put in a late application, please email GPLEX director Kiersten Mailler at kmailler@economyleague.org.

COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

A message from the GPLEX Planning Team:

Hello! The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia is committed to the health and safety of all our GPLEX participants. While we are excited to offer a majority of in-person gathering options for this year's events, we plan to remain vigilant and informed on any changes to the COVID-19 virus and its variants. We will also provide multiple opportunities for virtual participation in the case that attendees would like to remain online. With the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and the Pennsylvania & Philadelphia Departments of Public Health. Below, we are including our list of safety requirements for all GPLEX participants to abide by.

  • When accepting your invitation to join the GPLEX 2021 Cohort:

    • You agree to be fully vaccinated by the start of GPLEX 2021 and follow any safety guidelines in place

    • We request that you share proof of vaccination and follow any safety guidelines in place

  • Venue current guidelines: The College of Physicians and the Science Center currently (as of 8/4/21) require all patrons to wear their mask indoors, and we will follow whatever their guidelines are at the time of the event

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on Site: We will ensure that masks are available, and provide hand sanitizer stations, and proper hand washing signage in an effort to maintain a safe environment for all attendees

We will continue to share any updates to these guidelines as we move closer to the event date. As we all know the current state of the world is always changing and we plan to remain aligned with all safety measures. We will also provide virtual programming for those who are not ready to join in-person yet. Please direct any questions to gplex@economyleague.org.

We look forward to Rebuilding Civic Muscle with you all, and thank you for your participation in keeping everyone safe and comfortable!

Sincerely,

The GPLEX Planning Team
