CLOSING THE COLLEGE COMPLETION GAP
A WORLD CLASS FORUM
National Constitution Center | 525 Arch Street | F.M. Kirby Auditorium
Tuesday, November 29 | 8:00 - 10:30AM
Today, U.S. companies face unprecedented competition from abroad and an economy that puts a growing premium on knowledge and talent. In Greater Philadelphia, 43% of the population has an associate’s degree or higher, but by 2020, two-thirds of all jobs nationally will require a postsecondary degree. One of the most promising strategies for boosting regional degree attainment is helping more students who start college to finish.
The Economy League and Talent Greater Philly hosted a discussion with national and local leaders on college completion challenges, opportunities, and strategies in the Greater Philadelphia region.
