INTRODUCING THE WORLD CLASS INFRASTRUCTURE GPS
Featuring Keynote Speaker Edward G. Rendell
Greater Philadelphia's transportation networks, power and water systems, and land assets play a major role in facilitating commerce and providing access to opportunity. Addressing the challenge of maintaining existing systems while finding innovative ways to embark on new projects will be key to making business and day-to-day life in the area more productive and giving Greater Philadelphia a competitive edge.
Over the past year, the Economy League and ULI Philadelphia have convened a cross-sector team of business and civic leaders to develop a shared agenda for enhancing Greater Philadelphia's global and national connections, improving regional mobility, and making our region's energy and water systems more sustainable. On June 20, we will introduce the culmination of this strategy development work - the Global Positioning Strategy for World Class Infrastructure in Greater Philadelphia. The Infrastructure GPS will complement the World Class GPSes focused on education and talent development and business growth released earlier this year.
