Women and Entrepreneurship in Greater Philadelphia

Entrepreneurial ventures created and run by women are increasingly an integral part of the economy. Each year, more women start businesses of their own, and their collective success as business owners is reflected in faster than average growth in employment and revenues.

 

Recognizing that little was known about the experiences of successful businesswomen in the region, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Network engaged the Economy League to undertake a study of women and entrepreneurship in Greater Philadelphia. The findings of this study are detailed in the following report.
