World Class Greater Philadelphia Summit launches collaboration in three priority areas
What: Economy League will announce partnerships with the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the CEO Council for Growth, and the Urban Land Institute of Philadelphia to improve our region’s education and talent development strategy, business growth, and infrastructure. These priorities emerged after 24 months of leadership engagement and research focused on making Greater Philadelphia a world class place to live, work, and play by 2026 – the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Accompanying this announcement, the Economy League will present a new report, Focus 2026: Priorities and Goals for a World Class Greater Philadelphia.
World Class Greater Philadelphia’s co-chairs are Jerry Sweeney (CEO,
Brandywine Realty Trust), Dr. Steven Altschuler (CEO of Children’s Hospital),
and Wendell Pritchett (Chancellor, Rutgers-Camden), and Jane Pepper. For more
