The 2008 program consisted of three components:
Orientation, April 28, 2008 — Participants met one another, heard an overview of the program and expectations, and were briefed on the Economy League’s initial research findings in support of World Class Greater Philadelphia.
Regional Exploration, June, 4, 5, and 6, 2008
— This active, experiential session provided participants with a
deeper understanding of our region and its challenges and opportunities
prior to visiting Atlanta.
Metro Atlanta, September 24-26, 2008 — The culmination of the program was the visit to learn first-hand how Metro Atlanta's leaders collaborate to ensure regional prosperity and sound public policy. The trip included tours of notable project sites, briefings on significant multi-sector efforts, and meetings with the region’s business, civic, and government leaders.
