The University of Pennsylvania Project for Civic Engagement is
hosting four community forums across the city to gather citizen input
that can be incorporated into developing the city’s proposed budget for
2010.
"The City Budget: Tight Times, Tough Choices, Citizen Priorities" was developed by the Penn Project for Civic Engagement, as part of the Great Expectations project, using a grant from the William Penn Foundation.
Thursday, Feb. 12. — St. Dominic’s School, 8510 Frankford Ave. (Northeast)
Wednesday, Feb. 18 — Mastery Charter School, Pickett Campus, 5700 Wayne Ave. (Germantown)
Thursday, Feb 19 — St. Monica’s Catholic School, 16th and Porter Streets (South Philadelphia)
Monday, Feb. 23 — Pinn Memorial Baptist Church, 2251 N. 54th Street (West Philadelphia)
The forums will run from 7:00 p.m. - 9:30p.m. Registration begins at 6:00 p.m.
