July 8 - 30, 2008

One of the best things about living in Greater Philadelphia is the wealth of things to do: concerts, festivals, plays, performances, museums, historic sites, parks, libraries, and much more. It is a rich array of assets. But here's a problem: many of the institutions that preserve and present the region's arts and culture struggle to survive from year to year.
The region needs to agree on a strategy to preserve its arts and culture landscape. The Big Canvas is a regional dialogue aimed at doing just that. Help paint the Big Canvas as well. The project features five citizen forums around the region. We invite and urge you to help.
All sessions begin with registration and refreshments at 6:30 p.m. and conclude by 9:30 p.m. To RSVP, visit www.greatexpectations07.com or call 215-854-5956.
