Education & Talent Development
While Greater Philadelphia currently ranks 6th among the 10 largest metros for degree attainment, the region's rate rose from 39.9% in 2012 to 40.6% in 2013. Read More
Educational Attainment
86% of the region's high school students graduate on time. Among the region's counties, Philadelphia has the lowest rate with 4,330 students not graduating on time. The graduation rate in the city, however, has improved by 6.6% since 2011. Read More
On-time Graduation
Public programs provide access to pre-k for children in low- and moderate-income families who cannot afford it. In Greater Philadelphia, 34% of the children in these families are enrolled in these programs. Read More

    REGIONAL EXPORTS

     

    Despite more than 80 percent of global GDP growth projected to occur outside the U.S. between 2013 and 2018, only five percent of American companies currently export and, among those that do, 58 percent export to only one market. Recognizing the opportunity to take our region’s export outcomes to the next level, the Economy League and the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia are leading a coalition of partners to develop and disseminate a customized, data-driven metro export strategy.
