Building a World Class Tech Workforce in PHL

Tuesday, May 2, 2017 | 8:00am - 10:00am
The Hub Cira Centre
2929 Arch Street, Philadelphia

Since the early 2000s, employers in Greater Philadelphia have created 25,000 net new tech jobs – equivalent to 25% of all regional jobs created during that span. This growth presents a major economic opportunity for residents in our region, but firms report difficulty finding candidates with the needed skills and credentials to fill many positions. Join the Economy League during Philly Tech Week as we release an in-depth analysis of the region’s IT workforce and present a strategic framework to expand and deepen the tech talent pool in Greater Philadelphia.
